1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and SafeTap California ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the safetapcalifornia.com website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto.

2. Program Participation

SafeTap California is a private clean water program. Participation is subject to zone qualification based on standards administered by The Water Safety Association. Submitting your address for verification does not guarantee eligibility or enrollment. All program terms, including any household contributions, will be provided in writing following an in-home assessment and before any installation is scheduled.

3. Right to Cancel

In accordance with California Civil Code §1689.6 and §1689.7, households retain the right to cancel any in-home contract within three (3) business days, or five (5) business days for senior citizens. SafeTap California enforces a mandatory review period prior to installation to ensure households have adequate time to review program terms.

4. Independence Disclaimer

SafeTap California is an independent consumer program and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or operating on behalf of any federal agency, state agency, municipal utility, or water district, including the California State Water Resources Control Board. Zone classifications and eligibility determinations are issued under independent standards and are not regulatory determinations.

5. User Representations

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that: (1) all registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete; (2) you will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update such registration information as necessary; (3) you have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Terms of Service.

6. Modifications and Interruptions

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Site at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Site or the program.
